Get a free birthday meal in your birthday month when you present valid ID. You have to be signed up for MySmitty’s Rewards to get the meal.
Halifax Shopping Centre
You must be subscribed prior to your birth month to receive the gift card. Once you receive it, you have two weeks to redeem it at the Guest Services desk, and must show a piece of ID with birth date, as well as the confirmation e-mail for verification.
Then you will receive your $10 HSC gift card! Sign up to their list here to receive the gift card.
Denny’s (opens march 2024)
Just show up with a valid ID and get a free Grand Slam on your birthday. I highly suggest you bring along a friend because the Grand Slam is massive. It can easily easily get two people filled up. The Grand Slam is about $17, making this one of the best birthday freebies in Halifax.

Get a free cone on your birthday when you sign up to their Marble Mail 48 hours before your birthday.
Booster Juice
You have to sign sign up a minimum of seven (7) days before your birthday to get a free regular size (710 mL) smoothie from the Classics category on your birthday.
